As for farming gold in tyria. The best way to farm experience for mastery and to farm gold is in the silver waste. Its pretty easy, you try to find a map that does the meta. Then you just rotate and do the meta in a loop.

The loop starts with saving the 4 outposts. When you control a certain amount of the posts for an amount of time you can open the bosses for each area. once this happens you have unlocked the boss at the end. For each of these 5 bosses you kill before going after vine wrath will make him that much easier to kill. Best way to farm exp is when your farming gold cause you get exp for everything. May as well duel it.
